MISSION STATEMENT

The aim of Clara Vale Football Club is to provide a fair, supportive environment in which all children can enjoy playing football in a safe, controlled, friendly environment and to build on community links.

Clara Vale FC was formed in March 2005 and was awarded Charter Standard status by The FA in June 2005 only 3 months after its formation. Renewal of Charter Standard Club status (valid for 3 years) was endorsed by The FA in November 2008. Club Secretary, Debbie Storey, was awarded the National Award for Charter Standard Club Administrator of the Year in September 2009 by The FA  (click here for more details)

The Club takes its name from the original football club formed at Clara Vale in 1899 which, over the years, boasted quality players such as Howard Kendall, 'Pop' Robson, Brian Joicey and Derek Craig. Mike Ingoe's book "The Final Whistle Blows" gives details of the original Clara Vale teams and players.
